The exotic birds everywhere around me hadn’t stopped singing during the whole night. Roosters joined them around 4. Earplugs are a marvellous invention – I slept like a baby and I even didn’t have any mosquitoes under my net. A complete win.
I stood up at 8:30 and finally took a shower. There was just one type of water and no boiler but the temperature was just right to wake up and de-gross my body. Of course the feeling of cleanliness didn’t last long because I had to get myself a load of new Relec anti-mosquito as soon as I got out of the shower.
I organized my stuff and the unmistakable sound of RAID being sprayed told me that the rest of the group had woken up. Shouts like “holy shit” and “there is a bird in the shower!” followed.
We got ready and went out to have breakfast at the beach. While eating, we booked a tour to the sea for tomorrow and a few beach-umbrellas and chairs for today. As the heat became more and more intense, we settled at the beach under our umbrellas and stayed there for the rest of the day. We read, we talked, we drew, we went for a swim in the sea, we drank water, we relaxed, and then started again from the beginning. The water was warm as a bathtub and crystal clear after passing the zone where the waves were breaking. It was also very strong and wild and without mercy.

I saw one pretty cool fish and little more but lots of sand and water. At some point I couldn’t stand the heat anymore and returned to yesterday’s restaurant for lunch and a ventilated place to hang out until the biggest afternoon heat had passed. Didn’t feel like going back to the beach after this and returned back home to take a cool shower and hang out in a hammock under the roof for the rest of the afternoon without moving.

When the sun began to set, we walked on a small path through the forest to a little beach at the tip of the mountain and watched a beautiful sundown from there. It was still incredibly hot and didn’t cool off at all. We had some drinks and dinner and went home at midnight, with still over 30 °C and pretty destroyed.
